HALF//SUN DSP is a small, passionate team building the tools and tones we always wanted to have ourselves. A lot of the sounds that shaped our favourite records came from rare gear, unusual studio chains and setups that most players will never have the chance to own or even try.
Our goal is to bring those sounds into the computer in a way that feels detailed, musical and accessible to everyone. We put extreme attention into the small things — the response, the gain structure, the front end, the studio processing and the way every stage interacts — so the final result feels like more than just another amp sim.
We want HALF//SUN plugins to make it possible to experience the character of our favourite albums and hard-to-find tools in a practical modern workflow, often for the first time in a dedicated digital form.
